Having a root canal treatment could save your tooth!
Root canal treatment is a highly effective procedure for saving teeth affected by infection or deep decay. By removing infected tissue within the tooth, it alleviates pain and preserves the natural tooth. It is usually recommened to have crown or onlay placed on a root canal treated tooth and this prevents the tooth from fracturing and restores function. Root canal treatment is a minimally invasive treatment that may prevent the need for extraction, maintaining your smile and promoting long-term oral health.
Benefits of having root canal treatment
Pain Relief: Root canal treatment alleviates pain from severe tooth infections or inflammation.
Prevents Extraction: Saves the natural tooth, avoiding the need for removal.
Maintains Function: Preserves chewing and biting abilities, ensuring normal function.
Aesthetic Retention: Retains the natural appearance of your smile.
Prevents Infection Spread: Stops infection from advancing to other teeth or gums.
Improves Oral Health: Reduces the risk of further dental complications.
Long-lasting Solution: Properly treated, root canal results are highly durable.
Cost-effective: Avoids the need for more extensive, costly restorative treatments later on.
